Welcome to our blog!

If you're visiting for the first time, you may want to start
here.

My husband and I will celebrate six years of marriage on July 8, 2013, and after a lot of praying, hoping and dreaming, we welcomed our first baby boy into the world on August 18, 2011. About a year later, we were blessed with a second pregnancy and welcomed our beautiful daughter into the world on March 22, 2013.

Today, we're just doing life. Trying our best to live each day with intention and purpose while keeping our eyes fixed firmly on our Creator.

God has blessed us more richly than we could ever have imagined, and in all things,
His grace has fallen like rain on our life together.

We couldn't ask for more.

A Man After God's Heart: Deuteronomy 4:29

But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search after Him with all your heart and all your soul.

Deuteronomy 4:29

Buds, this one is important, because it's easily overlooked.  Sometimes, in our humanity, it can be easy to fall into a sense of complacency when it comes to an active relationship with the Father.  Things are going good, life is rolling along smoothly....those are the times when it's easiest to forget your absolute need and dependency on your Savior.   But I want to challenge you to really take this verse to heart; if you seek Him, you will find Him.  Just like any other relationship you'll have, an investment of time and attention is necessary so that it can grow.  You can't truly know someone who you haven't spent time with.  And, when you love someone, you make the choice to invest in them.  Because you love them, and you desire to know them intimately.  So invest in your Savior.  It's the most important investment you will ever make.  The implications are eternal.  Don't become complacent.  My prayer is that you will live each day with intention, seeking to know and grow in the love of the Father so that your life may be a living testimony to the love you have come to know.

If you seek Him, you will find Him.

Love you so much little one.  I am more proud of you than I could ever say.

Love,
Your Mama
